This month AskZoon.com is having it’s very first, Cultural Contest. This is an article writing contest where you write in your own language and describe something about your culture. Every two weeks AskZoon will have a cultural writing contest featuring a different country and this time we are focusing on India.
AskZoon wants to know more about India and we like narratives so there is no better place to learn than from the people themselves.
Possible Topics:
- You’re City & Lifestyle
- Something that you love about your culture
- Something that you wish would change about your culture
- One of your countries leaders who you admire
- What you love about your religion
- What has changed the most in your lifetime
Prizes will be awarded based on the most popular article which will be the most viewed article:
- 1st Prize: $50.00 US
- 2nd Prize: $25.00 US
- 3rd Prize: $10.00 US
- Plus the winning articles will be featured on our website which is read by thousands of people each week in over 91 Countries
Contest Guidelines for the Article are as follows:
- Article should be approximately 500 to 750 words
- You can submit up to 5 articles for consideration
- TO BE ELIGIBLE ALL ENTRIES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY JUNE 26 AND THE CONTEST WILL END ON JUNE 30
- The earlier you enter the more time you have for your article to get read and the more chance you have to win
- Written in you native language and English (English version not included in word count)
- It should be purely written by the sender; no copyrighted material would be accepted.
- The articles should be EMAILED at india@askzoon.com
- Subject of the Email: India Culture Contest
- Article Submitter has to mention in the email that: “This article has been written / framed by me only and do not contain any copyrighted content. If found to be copyrighted, LovePatiala.com would not held responsible for this submission.”
- Please do not use any vulgar or inflammatory language
- All articles will be published as long as they meet the guidelines
- We hold the right to reject any submission without any notice
- If there are any further changes in the contest contestants will be notified by email and via the website
Please send your submissions to india@askzoon.com with your complete details and paste your article into the body of the email. Please remember to have a version in both English and Your native Language. Prizes will be delivered by either First Class mail or instantly via PayPal.
