I just can’t see how the idea of irreducible complexity achieves anything more than finding the limits of the researcher’s imagination.

    There sure is. There’s also not looking at the available evidence at all, and deciding it shows whatever you want it to. That seems to be the more common form.

    Don’t forget the part about ignoring the huge body of evidence that doesn’t fit your preconceived notions. Oh, and publishing fake research journals to convince people that you’re playing the game.

    Of course there’s more to it than that. For starters there is gullibility, stupidity and frequent misrepresentation of evolutionary theory
